Z-Wave Light Switch Inclusion & Exclusion Instructions (3 x Button Press)
Follow these steps to include your Z-Wave light switch into a smart home controller:
Step 1: Enable Inclusion or Exclusion Mode on the Smart Home controller
- Open your smart home app or Z-Wave hub interface.
- Navigate to the Z-Wave settings and select "Add Device" or "Z-Wave Inclusion."
- Follow any prompts to put the hub in Inclusion or Exclusion Mode.
Step 2: Put the Light Switch in Inclusion or Exclusion Mode
- Ensure the light switch is powered on and within range of the Z-Wave hub.
- Press the top button 3 times on the light switch within 5 seconds.
- The LED indicator on the switch may blink or change colour to indicate it has entered learning mode.
